This application is designed to facilitate real-time monitoring of electrical power consumption using existing meters, including traditional rotating disc models and modern LED-based meters. While the underlying principle of the measurement—tracking rotations or flashes—remains consistent, the app offers a practical method for users to assess their energy usage directly through their camera interface.

Among its features, the measurement screen displays a live camera feed with an overlay of cross-hairs to help focus on the light source or rotating disc of the meter. Proper positioning is essential and may require some trial and error, with the optimal distance varying generally between 0 and 30 centimeters. An optional manual mode allows for the direct input of rotation counts or LED flashes, which can enhance accuracy in challenging conditions.

The core measurement value provides a real-time estimate of power consumption in Watts, with a maximum display limit of 9999 Watts. This data enables homeowners and technicians to identify energy draw from specific appliances or monitor standby modes more effectively.

The settings menu allows for customization based on meter type—be it traditional disc or LED—and provides options for manual input. Users can calibrate the number of rotations or flashes corresponding to one kilowatt-hour (kWh), as well as adjust visual display preferences, including LED color and camera sensitivity.

A start/stop control enables users to initiate and pause measurements easily. Pausing preserves the current data view in a static chart, which can be captured via screenshot functionality—activated by pressing the device's home and power buttons simultaneously—and then saved directly to the camera roll.

The in-app chart offers a historical visual record of recent measurements, with identifiable peaks associated with device activation periods. This feature helps users correlate specific appliances with their energy consumption patterns in real-time.

An audio toggle, located at the lower right corner, permits users to enable or disable sound notifications during operation.

Notably, this application functions independently of an internet connection, ensuring usability in offline settings.
